This is the BEST wiper system I have ever found to keep the snow and ice off my windshield in adverse conditions! I drove Ottawa to Brockville to Montreal and back to Ottawa in my International 9200 during a freezing rain storm last week. I found the Shaker worked extremely well at keeping the blade clean during this extreme weather, since the wiper blade was able to stay completely in touch with the windshield. “I am writing to you to give you some information on this product (the SHAKER Wiper Deicer). We have been using this product for around 3 years. Initially, we didn’t have much luck in getting our operators to use this product. Last year and once I convinced them to try the product based on positive feedback from other States, we’ve had nothing but good comments on the wiper shaker. Nebraska has purchased roughly around 80 of these with more on the way. Safety is always our number one concern for our Operators and with the wiper shaker the Operator no longer has to open the door of the truck and pound on the wiper to remove snow and ice. Being an Operator myself at one time, I remember many times either slipping or almost falling attempting to remove snow and ice from my windshield wiper. Luckily for me, I never injured myself severely. With the positive feedback I have received from many Nebraska Department of Roads Operators, I would encourage your Municipality to try these shakers for test and evaluation at the least.”

Normally in a plow round an operator might have to stop a half dozen times to bang the snow off of the wiper blade–even when using ANCO winter blades. With the Wiper Shaker all that is required is a regular “buzz” and they’re cleared of snow/ice buildup. I’ve already recommended them to some of my colleagues. I will continue to do so. Your company should be sending representatives to the state municipal associations’ conventions/trade shows to demo the product. Seeing them operate is worth a thousand words. As soon as you see the wipers jump up and down on the windshield, you realize the effect and value. I’ll get back to you later this spring to buy more for us for the rest of our vehicles.”
