the shaker, because as a professional driver, I am always thinking of the
safety of others and myself. In stormy weather, I do not have to pull over,
when I can't safely do so; the wipershaker keeps me on the road with better

and/or wiper ice build up. I can do it safely from inside my cab, as I'm

"I have been driving for Lavigne Truck Lines for six years, and I thought I should pass on these comments. I drove Ottawa to Brockville to Montreal and back to Ottawa in my International 9200 during a freezing rain storm last week. I found the Shaker worked extremely well at keeping the blade clean during this extreme weather, since the wiper blade was able to stay completely in touch with the windshield. By using the Shaker there was no build up of ice on the blade. Freezing blades do not keep the window clean, and with the Shaker I always had clear vision. "As for the performance of the Shaker, it's working great. I've actually only had one real bad storm so far this fall/winter, but it was immediately after I installed the units. It was exactly the kind of storm I wanted the Shaker for. It was slightly below freezing so the snow was fairly sticky. There was also a strong crosswind that made it stick to the truck, wipers, etc. The Shaker did a good job of keeping the build up to a minimum. I'm very happy with the units and don't regret my purchase one bit.

"We have found the Wiper Shaker a good fit with our salt plow trucks. The operators find it very helpful to clear the snow and slush off the windshield without having to stop and get out and crawling over the hood to clear the wipers by hand .

Not only are they are a great safety feature, but also a cost saving tool. We no longer need to use custom made steps ($230 each) to enable drivers to climb up on the slippery tires while on the shoulder of busy
roads to "flick" frozen wiper blades . By staying inside the cab this decreases the chance of an incident occurring, i.e., other vehicles hitting our parked trucks or the operators, in poor visibility . It also increases response time to snow and ice control by not having to stop. As a result of this past winters' results, a request has been made to our department heads to outfit our fleet with Shaker's (for driver and passenger side wipers). "

"They are great! Snowfall now up to 172.2 inches.

Normally in a plow round an operator might have to stop a half dozen times to
bang the snow off of the wiper blade--even when using ANCO winter blades.

With the Wiper Shaker all that is required is a regular "buzz" and they're cleared of
snow/ice buildup.

I've already recommended them to some of my colleagues. I will continue to do so.

Your company should be sending representatives to the state municipal
associations' conventions/trade shows to demo the product. Seeing them operate
is worth a thousand words. As soon as you see the wipers jump up and down on
the windshield, you realize the effect and value.

I'll get back to you later this spring to buy more for us for the rest of our vehicles.
